No! You don’t have to rescan the drive after activating the software.
When you scan the drive using the trial version of Stellar Data Recovery Professional, it shows you all the lost or deleted data on the screen to recover. However, you need to activate the software by purchasing the license key to save the recovered data.
Once you purchase the license key and activate the software, you will be able to ‘Recover’ the data. Browse the desired location and click ‘Start-Saving’ to store restored files, folders, etc.
[Caution: Do not save the recovered data to the same location from where you lost it in the first place. Always use an external storage device to prevent data overwriting.]
You may also upgrade to any version of Stellar Data Recovery software, i.e. Premium or Toolkit according to your data recovery requirements.
